Emergency response in restoration refers to the immediate actions taken when property damage occurs, typically available 24/7. Quick response is critical for minimizing damage—water damage can escalate within hours, and fire/smoke residue becomes harder to clean over time. Emergency response includes: rapid arrival (often within 60 minutes), initial assessment, water extraction or debris removal, emergency board-up and tarping, and stabilization measures. Fast response can significantly reduce overall damage and restoration costs.
